Background:
Carmen's
practice emphasizes all aspects of employment law, including
civil rights, contracts, wage and hour laws, non-compete
agreements, trade secrets, independent contractors, wrongful
discharge, discrimination and harassment, and employee
handbooks. She provides advice and counsel to clients
on their rights and obligations related to a wide variety of
employment and contractor-related issues.
Carmen
has been practicing for over 17 years and has extensive
experience handling state and federal civil cases and
appeals. She was selected by the Boulder County Bar
Association as its "Outstanding Young Lawyer" of
the year in 1997, and she is a frequent lecturer and author
on topics related to employment law. Carmen serves
clients throughout the State of Colorado and resides with
her family in Boulder.
