Robyn Kube's practice emphasizes all aspects of real estate law. She
represents homebuilders from the development stage through resolution of
post-construction issues with home owners and homeowners associations. She has
experience preparing the documentation for condominium projects and other
developments subject to covenants and restrictions. She represents purchasers of
property, from first time home buyers to those acquiring larger tracts for
commercial development. She represents home buyers who have disputes with their
builders or sellers. She assists parties of all types in obtaining land use
approvals with counties and municipalities. She represents property owners
desiring access to their property or those involved in boundary disputes with
their neighbors. She has also defended property owners against foreclosure
actions brought by their lenders and advised landowners confronting
environmental issues.
Robyn Kube also has experience in advising parties in disputes involving both residential and civil construction.
Robyn, along with Peter Dietze, has extensive experience in the area of title insurance law. She has represented numerous title insurance companies, including Transamerica Title Insurance Company, Chicago Title Insurance Company and Ticor Title Insurance Company. In addition, she has represented many
insureds, as title insurance company retained counsel. Through her work with the title insurance companies, she has developed a particular expertise in resolving access issues and was lead counsel in one of Colorado's key cases regarding the use of private condemnation to obtain access - West v.
Hinksmon.
Robyn is also an experienced trial lawyer, having tried numerous cases, including those involving the scope of title insurance coverage, adverse possession, mechanic's liens, private condemnation, contract disputes and class action law suits. She also has experience drafting appellate pleadings filed at both the state and federal levels.
Robyn is also a trained mediator, having learned from her litigation experience that resolving disputes through agreement frequently produces a more satisfying result, at a far lower cost, than one obtained from a court.
